The server room in a box

Ten 1U module bays share one enclosure, one 54-volt DC bus and central management. Step through the system to see how the modules work together.

• One compact chassis replaces separate router, UPS, server and storage boxes.
• Modules can be combined for office, AI, IoT and backup scenarios.

Redundant power supply & central management

Everything begins with a reliable power supply. The power shelf holds two M-CRPS power supplies in a redundant 1+1 configuration. In addition, a DC-SCM module handles central management, security, and control functions.

• The DC-SCM is the control point for management and security.

Optional battery backup

An optional battery backup module can support uninterrupted power supply during outages or voltage fluctuations. This makes the system suitable for unstable environments or mobile applications as well.

• The battery module bridges short outages and voltage dips.
• It is a 2U module, so it occupies two adjacent bays.

Flexible network module

The network module connects the system components and, depending on the configuration, can be used as a switch, router, Wi-Fi access point, or 5G client. Power over Ethernet is also optionally available to supply external PoE devices.

• Networking can be configured as router, switch, Wi-Fi, 5G or PoE edge.
• External PoE devices can be powered from the same system architecture.

Modular server units

Server modules with 1 or 2 rack units can be flexibly deployed for different tasks, from web servers and databases to local AI accelerators. Various mainboard sizes are supported.

• 1U and 2U sleds can mix compute, storage and accelerator roles.
• Removing a module leaves the bay position stable instead of shifting the layout.

Data Management Bus

The Data Management Bus connects the individual modules to the DC-SCM. This allows components to be detected, monitored, and managed centrally.

• Each module exposes management data to the central controller.

54-volt power bus bar

The modules are supplied with power centrally and efficiently via the 54-volt power bus bar.

• 54 V distribution reduces current compared with low-voltage internal wiring.

The final bus bar sits inside the chassis, close to the rear power path.

Modular thermal management

The system supports air cooling with modular fans in different sizes. Depending on performance requirements, water-cooled modules are also possible.

• Cool air is drawn in at the front and exhausted through the rear fan wall.
• 1U and 2U fan cassettes can be mixed to match the thermal load.

Form factor

With a width of 22 cm and a height of 44 cm, the system can be integrated into compact 10-inch racks as well as classic 19-inch racks.

• Upright orientation fits compact 10-inch installations.
• Sideways orientation shows how the same chassis can sit in a 19-inch rack.
